Indian Healing Clay can be used as a Hair/Face Mask .Made of 100% pure Bentonite Clay, which is popularly known for its skin purifying properties. When mixed with water and/or apple cider vinegar, the clay extracts skin impurities as it dries, reducing the appearance of blemishes, purifying pores, and exfoliating skin to reveal a softer, clarified complexion after each use. Indian Healing Clay can even be used on the body to soften skin and hair to extract toxins and impurities.
Combine equal parts clay with water or apple cider vinegar. Apply a ¼ inch thick layer to clean, dry skin and let sit for 15-20 minutes. If you have sensitive skin, leave on for no more than 15 minutes before rinsing off with a damp warm wash cloth.
½ cup bentonite clay ½ cup apple cider vinegar (ACV) ¼ cup water 1 teaspoon of lavender essential oils (optional)
1. Place clay in a plastic or ceramic bowl. 2. Pour the ACV and water into the bowl. 3. Mix until smooth and creamy like the texture of yogurt. 4. Your bentonite clay recipe is ready!
Apply the clay mixture to wet hair from root to ends. Massage the clay into your scalp and hair until every strand is fully saturated. Avoid allowing the clay to dry on your coils. Keep them moist, soft, and hydrated while you complete process with a spray bottle of half water and aloe Vera. Leave on hair for 5-20 minutes. Then rinse with warm water.
